Essential to a complete network management system is support for SNMP.  The ArTrac G4 SNMP Client Plug-In provides full SNMP Trap listener capability for all of the above ArTrac G4 products.  Fully configurable, the SNMP Client Plug-In can listen on any UDP port for traps from your network elements.  It also provides an interface for integrating ArTrac with your existing Element Management Systems (EMS).

The SNMP Client Plug-In loads all of your MIBs and translates the cryptic SNMP traps into human readable messages.  ArTrac G4 then presents the SNMP traps as standard events in management screens.  We have assembled a library of over 350 MIBs for most popular network elements.  All MIBs in our library are available free to our customers.
